3 New Videos!

Got a few updates, so let's get down to it!

First off, our friend Scott Gentile over at A2A Simulations took a trip to see "Yankee Lady", a B-17 Flying Fortress. The trip is centered at gaining access to a B-17 to help create an Accu-Sim package for the current Wings of Power II B-17. The video itself shows off some very intricate details of a B-17, and anyone that even has a passing interest in such an old plane will undoubtedly enjoy it.

On other fronts, Iris Simulations has asked Jaggyroad Films to produce a promotional video of their amazing Avro Vulcan package. If I may be so outright, I believe this is the best simulation of a Cold War bomber yet created for Microsoft Flight Simulator. She is truly a beauty to behold.

During the creation of the video, we were asked to provide a small snippet at the end showing XH558. XH558 was the last Vulcan to leave RAF service and flew until 1993. This particular plane is the only airworthy example of the timeless Avro Vulcan. The snippet was placed at the end of the original promotional trailer, however we all felt that it deserved its own video, and as such we are releasing this video in addition to the original trailer for the product. It is further worth mentioning that the owners of XH558, Vulcan to the Sky, have endorsed this package.

All three videos can be viewed in the MEDIA section of the website.

A2A Simulations Wings of Power 3 P-47 "Razorback" Promotional Video

Just uploaded the A2A Simulations P-47 video to the media section. Hopefully you will all agree that this is simply a dazzling plane, and having a large invested interest with its production, I cannot help show people just how beautiful I think she is.

I would also ask that anyone interested in this plane, or aviation in general to read about AccuSim, the technology that has helped this plane win several awards throughout the community.

FSX Extreme: DX10 / Core i7

Whipped up a little ditty in a couple of hours showing the potential of DX10 and the Intel Core i7 processor. I think you will all agree that what can be done in FSX is just now being tapped. The new processing bandwidth of the Core i7 gives FSX the ability to stretch it's legs and show what is indeed possible with video editing.

Jaggyroad Films goes Quad Core Crazy

In an effort to provide the best media available to our clients, patrons and passing viewers, Jaggyroad Films has taken the time (and money) to upgrade our computers to the latest quad core processors available. A major undertaking that has been going on since the 18th of March, we are now finalizing our efforts and will be back to business as normal.

To those who have been wondering where we are at and why we are not answering our e-mails, our apologies. We now have access to our e-mail servers and plan on making up any lost time.

New Member/Aerosoft Mega Airport Paris Charles de Gaulle

First and foremost, Xavier has joined the Jaggyroad Films team. He is a quality videographer that I have asked to join me in continuing the legacy of producing high quality video productions of both commercial and non-commercial nature. His work is going to become common around here, so please give him a warm welcome!

His first commercial video is Aerosoft Mega Airport Paris Charles de Gaulle. It has been uploaded to the MEDIA section. I think you will all agree his work is stunning and certainly is worthy of such a project. On a side note, as a Frenchman himself, I believe he had a personal connection to this particular project. It certainly shows!

Burying the Hatchet

Ariane Design has contacted me through a friend and taken the initiative to "bury the hatchet" so to speak about issues that we have had in the past. As a sign of friendship, I have and continue to remove comments negative about their products. I believe their effort to reshape their customer service is admirable and I would like to reiterate what I have always said in that they offer an excellent 737 package.

I learned something valuable from this experience that I hadn't often considered. As I gain more reputability in the community, my words weigh even more heavily with consumers and fans. With great power comes great responsibility, or so the saying goes.

I would like to thank Ariane Design for taking the first step in repairing what was often a turbulent relationship and I look forward to the bonds that this new friendship entails.
