Downtown Phoenix’s 2nd Avenue is abuzz with activity. On most weekend evenings, lines snake each individual which way as thrilled clients wait around to enter three new ideas that not long ago opened in just one extended making.

The cafe, bowling alley and bar offer extremely distinct experiences. Guaranteed, they all provide cocktails, keep the music loud and draw a crowd of young, fashionably dressed patrons, but the atmosphere, emphasis and menus couldn’t be much more distinctive.

I visited the two cocktail-centered alternatives, Cham Pang Lanes and Ghost Donkey. One was vibrant, fun and whole of occasion probable, while the other served up dark, moody vibes.

Both bring a little something new and enjoyable to the rising downtown Phoenix nightlife scene.

What to be expecting at Cham Pang Lanes

A view of the circular bar at Cham Pang Lanes in downtown Phoenix on Mar. 29, 2022.

As I entered Cham Pang Lanes and walked previous the doorman and the lodge test-in style host stand, my eyes didn’t know what to aim on 1st.

A large round bar sparkled, reflections bouncing off an set up of disco balls overhead. Behind it, groups cheered as mates threw bowling balls down the mini-sized lanes. A several individuals performed pool. Others ate sushi. Some sipped cocktails. A cowboy-hat clad bachelorette occasion in shiny jackets danced between tables.
