Chris Cuomo, fired from CNN, is leaving his SiriusXM radio present

Fired CNN host Chris Cuomo stated Monday that he will “no lengthier be performing” his SiriusXM radio clearly show, just days after he lost his large-profile cable news spot.

Cuomo is typically the host of “Let us Get Following It with Chris Cuomo” at noon ET on SiriusXM, but previous ABC Information and NBC News reporter Brian Ross was driving the microphone when the demonstrate aired Monday.

About an hour right after the two-hour program finished, Cuomo declared that he was leaving, expressing he desired “to just take a stage again and concentration on what arrives future.”

“The way my time ended at CNN was really hard,” Cuomo tweeted. “When I have a thick skin, I also have a family members, for whom this earlier 7 days has been extraordinarily tricky.”

He hinted at a return in some type of media: “I will skip our discussions a good deal — but I seem forward to staying back in touch with you all in the future.”

Cuomo’s radio silence before Monday took listeners by surprise as Ross went on the air in his put.

Ross stated at the best of the demonstrate that he was substituting for Cuomo: “And good Monday afternoon to you. This is Brian Ross, from the Law and Crime Community, sitting down in right now for Chris Cuomo.”

Ross ended his two-hour section by thanking several staffers and marketing a different exhibit — but he did not give any sign about who would be driving the microphone Tuesday.

SiriusXM mentioned in a statement, “Following Chris Cuomo’s assertion that he is leaving his SiriusXM exhibit, ‘Let’s Get Soon after It’ will no for a longer time air. We thank Chris for his get the job done at SiriusXM.” It did not elaborate on who would just take about the noon place.

CNN fired Cuomo on Saturday after new information emerged about his initiatives to aid his brother, then-New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who was fighting sexual harassment allegations that ultimately led to his resignation.

A former junior colleague of Chris Cuomo’s at CNN also came ahead last week to accuse him of an unspecified act of sexual misconduct.

The unnamed accuser arrived ahead right after obtaining listened to Cuomo’s on-air statements in reaction to the allegations against his brother, saying he has usually cared about challenges of sexual harassment.

The accuser’s lawyer, Debra Katz, claimed in the statement that when her client listened to “the hypocrisy of Chris Cuomo’s on-air terms and disgusted by his attempts to try out to discredit these women, my client retained counsel to report his severe sexual misconduct towards her to CNN.” 

Katz also signifies Andrew Cuomo accuser Charlotte Bennett.

“My client came ahead at this time for the reason that she felt in sharing her tale and connected documentation, she could enable defend other women. She will keep on to cooperate with CNN’s investigation into her allegations,” Katz explained.

Chris Cuomo’s agent, Steven Goldberg, stated in a statement, “These seemingly nameless allegations are not genuine.”
