Hundreds delight in audio pageant downtown

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – After a rough 7 days in the news, hundreds of folks flocked downtown on Saturday to take pleasure in the longstanding custom of the Jacksonville Jazz Pageant.

It was refreshing to see smiling faces all acquiring a good time, and men and women arrived to the free function ready with garden chairs, umbrellas — and waters.

“Jacksonville is protected. We have our worries like each town, but a weekend like this you need to be enthusiastic,” Sheriff Mike Williams said. “We acquired a lot of great gatherings likely on downtown.
