CLEVELAND, Ohio – Get ready to pop some champagne and dance the night away: New Year’s Eve is just around the corner, and Greater Cleveland bars, restaurants, clubs and venues are ready to celebrate.
Whether you want to see some live music, eat a multiple-course dinner, dress up for a masquerade or embark on a Lake Erie cruise, there’s an event for you.
Some New Year’s Eve parties require coronavirus vaccination or negative COVID-19 test results for entry. Others will take place virtually. Check with event hosts to learn more about their full pandemic protocols.

Tropidelic concerts
Dance two nights away to the music of Tropidelic, first at the Grog Shop on Dec. 30 and then at the House of Blues on Dec. 31. The energetic Cleveland band has made a tradition out of its popular New Year’s Eve shows, which will also feature Little Stranger, The Quasi Kings and more this year. Tickets $25-$55, single-day and two-day passes available.

Ekoostik Hookah at the Beachland Ballroom
Vibe two nights away with Ekoostik Hookah at the Beachland Ballroom to round out the year 2021. The band will host two concerts at the Waterloo venue, on Dec. 30 and Dec. 31. Two-day passes are available for $50, while single show tickets cost $30.

New Year’s Eve at Noon with Cleveland Museum of Natural History
Tune in for a virtual celebration – 12 hours before the New Year begins. The Cleveland Museum of Natural History will host a Noon Year’s Eve party on Facebook, complete with a giant dinosaur egg drop and entertainment from the museum’s education department. Free.

Nautica Queen cruises
Celebrate on Lake Erie with the Nautica Queen’s New Year’s events. Choose either the Noon Year’s Eve or the New Year’s Eve dinner gala, which both include meals, sightseeing, music and other fun. Advance registration is required. Tickets $18.95-$88.95.

Music Box concerts
The Music Box goes all out for New Year’s Eve, with several concerts and parties taking over the Flats music venue on the final day of 2021.
Inside the Supper Club, things kick off with a Noon Year’s Eve Motown brunch with Nitebridge ($18-$25). Later in the day, the space will host local Fleetwood Mac tribute band Rumors for a show that runs until midnight ($65).
Upstairs in the concert hall, enjoy music by The Sunrise Jones, along with a champagne toast and party favors for the big day ($65).

Hubb’s Groove New Year’s Eve
Cleveland jazz and R&B band Hubb’s Groove will be providing the tunes all night long at the Independence location of Doubletree by Hilton. Tickets to the party are available, along with tickets that include overnight accommodations at the hotel and New Year’s Day fun. Tickets $75-$499.

Alley Cat Oyster Bar dinner
Seven courses await at Alley Cat Oyster Bar’s New Year’s Eve dinner. The list includes oysters with pineapple vanilla caviar, lobster bucatini carbonara with shaved truffle, black grouper, rib-eye steaks and more. Tickets $150-$200.

Wagner’s Of Westlake
Indulge in plates of prime rib, turkey breast, smoked kielbasa, pasta marinara and more at Wagner’s Of Westlake’s New Year’s Eve buffet. Twiisted Burgers & Sushi
A little bit of Las Vegas will arrive at Twiisted Burgers & Sushi on New Year’s Eve, with blackjack, poker, roulette, craps and more available to play. Plus, plenty of food from the Medina restaurant will be available to taste, including Beef Wellington, chilled seafood, prime rib, chocolate fondue and more. Tickets $175.

Sapphire Creek Winery
A disco inferno will spark at Sapphire Creek Winery, as the Chagrin Falls business hosts its funky disco throwback New Year’s Eve Party on Dec. 31. There will be an open bar with themed cocktails and food available all night long, along with a dance floor, a late-night breakfast buffet and streamer guns at midnight. Tickets $350-$500, with upgrades available.

Woodside Event Center
Boaterhead, a smooth yacht rock cover band, will provide songs by Steely Dan, Hall & Oates, Toto and more throughout the night at Woodside Event Center in Broadview Heights. The Tangier
Feast on a huge buffet, take advantage of an open bar and enjoy a live dance party with music from Disco Inferno at The Tangier on New Year’s Eve. Twist Social Club

Windows On The River
