The greatest new albums out this 7 days seem to be to mirror on regret and forgiveness, inspecting the missteps we consider in life and how we offer with the fallout, which includes R&B singer Kehlani’s gorgeous blue h2o road, Girlpool’s (appropriately titled) Forgiveness, and the remarkably intimate and inward on the lookout Two Ribbons from Let us Take in Grandma. But first there’s MAHAL, the ambitious, adventurous and probably greatest album Toro y Moi has made so far. NPR Music’s Hazel Cills joins WXPN’s John Morrison, Radio Milwaukee’s Tarik Moody and host Robin Hilton as they share their picks for the best new albums out on April 29.
